Glue/trap paper

Glue/trap paper

I bought a package of 12 of this glue/trap paper. Caught 3 mices in about a week. Very effective product. The other day, when the professional pest control guys came over for annual check, I saw they were using the same product.

However, YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT PROPER for it to be effective.

1. Where to place the glue paper is critical.

Mice typically follows fixed pattern of pathes, and they often runs closely along the walls (because they are short sighted). You need to know the right places to put the glue paper to be able to catch mices. You can also tell where they go by where you find the droppings on the ground. In my case, I basically put two pieces of glue paper - one along the foot of each side of the walls of the corridor between kitchen and living room. I saw mice running long the corridor and by covering each side of the wall, I covered both directions no matter where the mice goes.

2. What to do once you catch the mice.

You need to be very aware of the fact that the mice will be alive once caught. You will need to "finish" it yourself. Some people don't realize this and get surprised by at the sight of live mice glued to the paper and don't know what to do. If you have problem "finish off" the mice, then don't use this product, but try for example mice poision.

I recommend to turn the paper upside down and put into the toilet bowl - submerging under the water. Wait for a while until the mice is finished off and fold the paper and throw it away.

3. Each time you catch a mice, wait a couple of days before using the product again to catch additional one.

Right after a mice is caught other mices seem to learn to avoid it. But apparently they also have bad long term memories. I was able to catch them days apart until there was no more mice activities.
